I believe in the power of education to transform lives. That's why I advocate for increased funding for public schools, smaller class sizes, investments in early-childhood education, and comprehensive support for teachers and staff. Education is the foundation of our community's success, and I'm dedicated to ensuring our schools are equipped to provide every child with the opportunities they deserve.

Access to affordable healthcare is a human right, not a privilege. I'm committed to advocating for policies that reduce healthcare costs, expand access to preventive and mental health services, and ensure no family is burdened by medical debt. Together, we can build a healthcare system that truly serves the needs of every Hoosier and isn’t controlled by large insurance companies and their lobbyists.

Our district deserves modern, reliable infrastructure—from roads and bridges to rural broadband and self-sustaining solar energy. I pledge to work tirelessly for the federal and state funding needed to upgrade our infrastructure, making our community safer, more connected, and ready for the future.

I aim to grow our local economy by supporting initiatives that attract investments, enhance job training programs, and bolster small businesses. By creating a nurturing environment for entrepreneurship and innovation, we can provide high-quality jobs and ensure our community thrives in a rapidly changing economy.

However, as job opportunities increase, so does the need for accessible housing options. Hoosier families, especially those in Rural Indiana have, for several years faced the most difficult environment to purchase a home. Addressing this issue requires a multi-faceted approach, including incentivizing affordable housing development, supporting first-time homebuyers, and promoting policies that encourage responsible growth while preserving community character.

I staunchly believe in safeguarding the rights of landowners and ensuring that property owners have a strong voice against undue governmental or corporate overreach. Protecting these rights means advocating for clear, fair regulations that respect the autonomy of property owners, while also ensuring responsible stewardship of our land. I will fight to ensure that every Hoosier has the freedom to manage their property as they see fit, within a framework that protects the rights and interests of the broader community.

I believe in taking concrete steps to lift families out of poverty, such as advocating for a living wage and an employee’s right to unionize, supporting healthcare expansion to cover more families, investing in our schools from K-12 to higher education, and ensuring everyone has access to affordable housing.
