As a former first responder at Medic 206, service and care for others have always been at the core of my life. Sitting here with my old partner Varney, I'm reminded of the countless days and nights dedicated to helping our community in times of need. These experiences have deeply ingrained in me a sense of duty and compassion. Now, stepping away from the ambulance and into the realm of public service, my commitment to taking care of others continues. It's not just a choice, but a part of who I am – it's in my DNA. As a state representative, I aim to bring this same dedication to ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of every person in our district. I believe that a true public servant's role is to be there for people, just as I was there for them as a first responder.

Championing Our Educators, Empowering Our Future
Out here at McCormick's Creek State Park, with my daughter by my side, I'm reminded of how important our teachers, bus drivers, and school staff are. They help our kids learn and grow every day. I believe we should do everything we can to support them. That's why I stand with teachers and their right to come together in unions. When teachers are respected, paid well, and have a say in their jobs, they can do their best for our kids. This means making sure we have the best people teaching and working in our schools. I'm all for unions because they help make sure teachers are treated fairly. By taking care of our teachers, we're also taking care of our kids’ futures. Together, we can make sure our schools are great places to learn and grow.

In the realm of politics, it's crucial to understand the difference between the national stage and what happens right here in Indiana. As your State Representative, my focus is on the aspects of governance that touch your everyday life – from the quality of the roads you drive on, to the fairness of the taxes you pay, to the support provided to families navigating adoption. These aren't distant, abstract issues; they're the realities that shape our daily experiences. It's important to recognize that most Hoosiers don't fall into the extremes of the political spectrum. Instead, they, like you, often find themselves somewhere in the middle, seeking practical solutions over partisan extremes. That's precisely where I stand – in the middle, bridging divides with common sense and a balanced approach. My commitment is to represent the true heart of Indiana, focusing on practical, everyday issues that make a real difference in our lives.
